What got you interested in working with FRPT?
In my previous role at a smaller speech therapy clinic in the Washington DC area, I gained valuable experience on the operations side. I’m now genuinely excited to join a larger home health practice like FRPT, where I can expand my skills set but most importantly to contribute to an organization with a broader reach and impact.
What do you love most about working with FRPT?
Although I’ve only just started at FRPT, it’s clear that this is an organization that truly values its company culture. I can already see the emphasis placed on creating a positive, supportive environment for employees!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
My favorite things to do on my downtime are to exercise, spend time outside if the weather allows, travel to new places with my family, read (I love suspense novels and historical fiction), and catch up on mindless reality shows.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that while I love to travel and see new places, I have a fear of flying and have to talk myself into the idea prior to most flights.
What is your favorite activity to encourage learning and growth with kids?
Reading! Since my daughter was a baby we’ve made story time a special part of her daily routine and encouraged a love for getting lost in a good book. In today’s tech-driven world, I’m especially proud that she continues to see reading as a positive and enjoyable habit.
