What got you interested in working at FRPT?
During my CFY, the majority of my caseload was early intervention and I loved it! I wanted to find a company where I could continue growing as a home health SLP while also having a work-life balance.
What do you love most about working as a speech language pathologist?
One thing I enjoy about being a home health SLP is the constant learning and adapting that comes with a diverse caseload. I love the collaboration between myself and my clients’ families, especially when discussing realistic ways of targeting therapy goals within daily routines.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
On the weekends, I love exploring new coffee shops, trails and books!
What is something most people don’t know about you?
Although I lived in Michigan most of my whole life, I was born in South Bend, IN and graduated from Indiana University!
What is your favorite activity to encourage learning and growth with kids?
For my early intervention clients, I love talking about repetition and wait time. It’s so exciting when families share updates about their child’s progress when they’ve made simple changes to how they model language!
