What got you interested in working as a speech therapist?

I became interested in ST during a medical shadow program in high school.

 

What do you love most about being a speech therapist?

My favorite thing about being an SLP is helping patients reach a goal or make progress towards their goals to help them communicate better. 

 

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love hiking, eating, traveling, volunteering, reading, ‘puzzling’, and spending time with my family.

 

What is something most people don’t know about you?

My high school volleyball team won the State Championship multiple times! 

 

What is your favorite activity to encourage learning and growth with kids?

I highly encourage families to read or actively look at a book daily with their child.

I’m a firm believer in “Kindness Matters!”
