What got you interested in working as a speech therapist?

I’ve always loved working with children and the medical field. It’s amazing that I get to help children find their voice everyday and have so much fun doing it!

What do you love most about being a speech therapist?

Being able to help a child say their first word or master a speech sound. I also love all the laughs I have with the families I work with at FRPT.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love to hike, play soccer, ski, play with my dog, read, play video games, go to concerts, play guitar, and travel!

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I play the guitar!

What is your favorite activity to encourage learning and growth with kids?

Reading their favorite book or a book with a topic they’re interested in! Books are a great way to work on language, speech sounds, and early literacy skills!

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

I absolutely LOVE working for FRPT! The staff are the most genuine, friendly people I have ever had the privilege to work with.
