What got you interested in working with FRPT?
It’s a fantastic privately owned business with enormous growth potential. Plus, a team of hard working, passionate individuals committed to working towards a common goal – bettering the lives of children (and their families) in need. Who wouldn’t want to work here?
What do you love most about working as an occupational therapist?
There’s so much to love about being a pediatric OT, but I think cultivating a relationship with parents/caregivers, serving as a sounding board, advocate, someone they can trust is imperative to the progress/well being of their child(ren).
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love snowboarding, traveling, playing games, learning Italian, and spending time with my family, particularly my two babies.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I’m a twin, and my twin sister is a speech therapist with her own outpatient practice in D.C.
What is your favorite activity to encourage learning and growth with kids?
I think activities that encourage learning and growth are very much kid (and development) specific. So, my favorite depends on their interests at the time. Currently, my son is really into trucks, so we try to incorporate them into everyday activities, like gardening, clean up, imaginary play, etc.
Is there anything else you want to share?
Just really excited to collaborate with such a unique and special group of individuals!
