What got you interested in working as an occupational therapist?
I observed and helped with an OT session for one of my patients while in nursing school, and quickly realized how fascinated I was by OT!
What is your favorite thing about or memory of being an occupational therapist?
Seeing and experiencing the feelings of accomplishment and pride alongside kiddos when they master something new!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Anything and everything outdoors (especially with my dog, George), spending time with family and friends, exploring new places and experiences, reading and getting crafty!
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I am a tribal member of a federally recognized Native American tribe.
What is your favorite activity to suggest to families to work on their occupational therapy skills at home?
Throw some measuring cups and spoons in the bath during bath time and watch your kiddo have fun AND practice all those good fine motor skills (with open-ended, pretend play too)!
Anything else you want to share?
I’m excited for the opportunity to work at FRPT and am looking forward to all that is to come!
